What Are Affiliate Links?
Affiliate links are special URLs that track when a visitor from our site makes a purchase on a partner's website. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or go directly — the commission comes from the retailer, not from your pocket.
Our Affiliate Partners
We participate in affiliate programs with the following companies and platforms:
- Amazon Associates — We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
- Bob's Red Mill — Direct affiliate partnership for flour and whole grain products.
- King Arthur Baking — Affiliate partnership for flour and baking supplies.
- Jovial Foods — Affiliate partnership for einkorn products.
- Nutiva — Affiliate partnership for chia and hemp products.
We may add or change affiliate partners over time. This page will always reflect our current relationships.
How We Choose What to Recommend
Commission never influences our recommendations. Our editorial process works like this:
- We research products based on quality, reputation, and relevance to ancient grain cooking and milling.
- We only recommend products we have personally researched and would buy ourselves.
- If a product we recommend happens to have an affiliate program, we use the affiliate link. If it doesn't, we still recommend it.
- We never recommend a product solely because it offers a higher commission.
Where Affiliate Links Appear
You'll find affiliate links in these sections of our site:
- Grain profile pages — "Buy Flour & Whole Grain" product cards for each grain
- Home Grain Mills — Our curated selection of flour milling machines
- Recipe links — Some recipe links may contain affiliate tracking
Every section containing affiliate links includes a disclosure notice directly adjacent to those links, as required by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
FTC Compliance
